The wood selection
The selection of suitable tonewood is based on long-term experience. Thereby we pay particular attention to slowly and uniformly growing of the tree. The specialist recognizes top quality inter alias on thickness and arrangement of the annual rings. From the trunk we only use the first 4-5 clean, knot-free meters, which is measured from the rootstock (the so-called A-length).
